"There are those who use their powers for personal gain, and those who use them for the greater good; which will you be?"
SkyHigh Unlimited is an RP site loosely based around the Disney Channel movie SkyHigh. The same general, basic principal is in play here; there are those who are born with power and those who were born without. To those few individuals who find themselves in possession of super powers, a slightly different type of education is required, and that's where SkyHigh comes into play.
Superpowered youth can study at the prestigious SkyHigh to foster their abilities and help them hone and train their unique powers. All superpowered children are welcome, regardless of parentage or level skill. Being one of the only institutions of it's kind, kids from all over the world come to study for their highschool years, and as a result, SkyHigh has grown as a school, and now offers year-round boarding and housing for out of state and international students. SkyHigh employs some of the most talented staff, and in recent years, has done away with the archaic 'Hero/Sidekick' dynamic. Now, all students are offered education and opportunity to hone their skills and become functioning members of the superpowered society.
The superpowered world is ruled by the benevolent 'Guardian Council', which work to both keep the non-powered world safe from threats, and to serve justice and keep the peace among the superpowered community as well. The Council is made up of ten sitting Council Members who act as both Jury and Judge to those who break the law or otherwise cause the community harm or threat.
“Hero-Corps” is where many students find their calling in life after graduation. A Network of superpowered individuals who work closely with the Guardian Council to help eradicate villainous forces that threaten the non-powered world. They work on an ‘on-call’ and as-needed basis for the Council, and use their well-trained powers for the greater good.
